How to View Your Blocked List on Facebook

View Your Blocked List on Facebook – Are you unable to find an old friend that you may have purposefully or mistakenly blocked on Facebook? Here is the procedure to see friends or profiles you’ve blocked on Facebook.

Blocking someone on Facebook is a common practice. You may have quarreled with a buddy, or you wish to prevent that someone from contacting you.

Facebook is a social platform that helps us connect with friends and families. However, some people are just so annoying, even on social media, that you feel the best way is to block them.

Want to find those you blocked on Facebook so you can unblock them? Once in a while, it’s okay to visit those people on your blocked list to ensure that you didn’t block them in error.

Again, Facebook is a social network that runs via the power of friendship – blocking so many people won’t help you, and not blocking annoying Facebook friends won’t be an option either.

In this piece, we’ll show you how you can view your blocked list on Facebook in your settings and possibly unblock your blocked friend(s) if necessary.

How to View Your Blocked List on Facebook

Here is how to view your blocked list on Facebook on any device platform:

On Computer/Desktop

  1. Login to your Facebook account if you haven’t done so.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right of your Facebook homepage.
  3. Select Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
  4. Under Audience and visibility, click Blocking.
  5. In the Block users section, click Edit then See your blocked list to see a list of friends or profiles you’ve blocked on Facebook. From here, you can:
    • Unblock a Profile – Click Unblock next to the name of the profile you would like to unblock.
    • Block a Profile – Enter the name of the friend or profile you would like to block, then click Block and select Block [name] to confirm.

On Android, iPhone or iPad

  1. Login to your Facebook account if you haven’t done so.
  2. Tap the hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the top-right corner (Android) or at the bottom-right corner (iPhone/iPad) of your Facebook homepage.
  3. Scroll down and tap Settings & privacy, then tap Settings.
  4. Scroll down to the Audience and Visibility section and tap Blocking.
  5. Now, you’ll see a list of the friends or profiles you’ve blocked on Facebook. From here you can:
    • Unblock a Profile – Tap Unblock next to the profile you would like to unblock, then tap Unblock to confirm.
    • Block a Profile – Tap Add to blocked list and enter the name of the friend or profile you would like to block, then tap Block and select Block to confirm.

Note: When you unblock someone, that person will be able to see your publicly shared Facebook posts. Also, the person will not automatically become a Facebook friend of yours. If you want to be friends with the person you unblocked, you must send them another friend request. Keep in mind that if you unblock a profile, you won’t be able to block it again for a few days.
